Ann was a great blessing to the Lausanne Global Workplace Forum specifically by directing leaders on multiple conference teams. Ann is gifted in simultaneously driving multiple teams without being overly controlling. She has both the relational skills as well as project management expertise to help teams succeed. She has a strong ability to work in multicultural environments, bringing joy and (often needed) laughter in sometimes tense situations.

Ann was essential on our World Evangelical Alliance General Assembly planning team, providing expertise and leadership, in not only logistics but in nearly every other area. Though she was the Director of Operations, she took on more than what her job required. She improved effectiveness of our dispersed team and put systems into place. As a result, Ann helped our team stay on track. She is an extremely trustworthy colleague and friend, and I highly recommend Ann for any event or project, from concept to finish.

Michael Oh, Global Executive Director / CEO at The Lausanne Movement

Christopher Chou, CEO at The Christian Post

Ann assisted us in garnering over 250 passports and over 650 visas for our global staff to attend a conference we were organizing in the US. She excelled in leading a team, facing a daunting challenge, building trust with the international field offices, providing excellent training for visas and international travel, and creating robust systems to track each staff and provide support in the visa application . I am very thankful for her skill set and expertise.

Ann brings a wealth of event management experience to any project and I was particularly impressed with her ability to put a project plan together and manage the event team. Being able to work with someone so experienced and knowledgeable about every detail of an event was tremendously reassuring, and a God-send for any conference convenor.

Kirsten Groskopf, Global Vice President, Enterprise Planning & Effectiveness at International Justice Mission

Jo Plummer, Business as Mission

Having known Ann for nearly a decade and worked with her in several capacities, I am nonetheless in awe of her ability to provide strategic vision while simultaneously making people her highest priority. Ann leads with integrity, authenticity and seeks to elevate those around her. As co-host of the Heromakers Podcast, Ann has proven to be an excellent communicator and listener, ready for any conversation.

Laurie Nichols, Founder at Common Good Communications

I am a grateful and enthusiastic admirer of Ann Chow’s abilities as a conference organizer of the 2012 quadrennial conference. While serving as President of the International Association for Mission Studies, I found Ann to be friendly, savvy, hard-working, reliable, and competent—a delight to work with. The Toronto conference was the best organized IAMS conference ever, and I have no hesitation in giving Ann much of the credit.

Jonathan Bonk, Executive Director, Overseas Ministries Study Center

Ann is incredibly gifted at building cross-cultural relationships. I have seen leaders from all around the globe stop what they are doing to greet Ann and discuss potential future partnerships. Having worked with Ann at conferences, I've witnessed Ann find quick and effective solutions to problems. There are few people in the world who possess the conference planning and executing skills on an international level that she does.

I am a long-time project manager and community organizer, and I have never enjoyed a team so much as the one I work on with Ann. Her own work is diligent, thorough and extremely organized. When she empowers you to run with a project she means it, and trusts you to do it while offering herself as a resource anywhere she can support. Interactions with her are full of laughter and honor. I’ve become a better project manager from working with her, and I would gladly work with her on any project, anywhere.
